About him:
Dr Tan Teik Ee is one of our accredited Consultant Anaesthesiologists. Dr. Tan completed his basic medical education in Dundee, Scotland. He received his training and experience in anaesthesia at the National University Hospital, Singapore, Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh and Penang General Hospital.
Dr Tan, as a member of the Malaysia Society of Anaesthesiologists was appointed to the Subcommittee on Clinical Practice and Guidelines to formulate clinical guidelines on Pre-anaesthetic Assessment under the aegis of the Chapter of anaesthesiologists, Academy of Medicine, Malaysia.
Dr Tan is competent in the various fields of anaesthesiology including subspecialties such as Intensive care, cardiothoracic, paediatric obstetric and neurosurgical anaesthesia. He has particular interest in Low-flow anaesthesia.
Dr Tan and his wife have 3 lovely children and it is Dr. Tan’s pleasure to frolick with them in the playground or take them swimming. He is a Life Member of the Penang Rifle Club and likes occasional target practice.
